All familiar with the historic construction process recognize the risks associated with earth volumes, grading costs and underground utility conflicts (to name a few examples). A lack of accurate and reliable data has plagued the success of planning, feasibility, design and construction since Roman times. In the context of the present world of instant finger pointing and litigation, the lack of accurate and reliable data often presents risk sufficient to make a project untenable.
Through the use of digital technology and processes, the experienced professionals of V4 have developed programs that allow us to work with clients to:
- Acquire accurate and reliable 3D data from numerous sources.
- Integrate the data into appropriate technology solutions.
- Work with client to develop clear understanding of objective.
- Provide planning options and analysis.
- Develop 3D model analysis of costs, quantities and other criteria based on constraints of regulatory and client requirements allowing the client to make a go/no go decision based on realistic data.
V4 can also work with the client in obtaining existing and as-built data, incorporating data into one or more of the several AutoDesk technologies used for planning and analysis. V4 will then provide the resources and/or training to provide outputs that will allow the client to make realistic decisions.
