Autodesk Cloud Services: Autodesk A360
Autodesk A360 is a cloud computing platform to help users improve their design, visualization, simulation, and collaboration processes. It provides storage space for project documents—models, drawings, and any other type of file—to be uploaded in an online repository called A360 drive, from where it can accessed by other team members, clients, and even the public at large, if required. Being on the cloud, the project data can be accessed from any device, including tablets and phones for which there are dedicated A360 mobile apps. A centralized front end to the platform, in the form of the A360 tool, allows users to set up and manage project teams, upload project documents, view project data, search, and communicate with other team members.
Given the diversity of project team members—in their location, background, expertise, and tools—that need to work together on a project, cloud-based project management and collaboration services like Autodesk A360 allow them to communicate, organize and manage their processes, and share information more easily and efficiently, which can lead to better quality in the final product.
Autodesk BIM 360
Autodesk BIM 360 software accelerates project delivery and helps minimize contractor risk with anytime, anywhere access to project data across the entire construction lifecycle. BIM 360 empowers those in the field to anticipate and act, and those in the back office to optimize and manage all aspects of construction performance. It generates alignment between planning and performance, while helping to minimize the risks associated with outdated or inaccurate project data.
- BIM 360 Glue: a cloud-based BIM management and collaboration product that connects the entire project team and streamlines BIM project review and coordination workflows.
- BIM 360 Field: field management software for 2D and 3D environments that combines mobile technologies at the point of construction with cloud-based collaboration and reporting.
